First Tuesday

Inspired by curiosity about our habit of sending food straight to landfills, Dive, a multi-award winning documentary by Jeremy Seifert, is equal parts entertainment, guerrilla journalism and call to action.

Come along on 5th July, watch this multi-award winning documentary and then find out what’s happening locally to combat food waste from Gosport Trash Cafe’s founder, Chloe Palmer.

The Bee Cause

Friends of the Earth has secured Pollinator Strategies for Wales in 2013, and England in 2014. We're also part of the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan, launched in 2015. Now we need your help to make sure our politicians deliver on their promises, and take a lead in helping our bees thrive.

You can play a practical part in this by participating in the 2016 Great British Bee Count between 19th May and 30th June. Sign  up and find out more at www.foe.co.uk/page/great-british-bee-count-2016-sign-up. In the 2015 count, we spotted over 100,000 bees - let’s see if we can do even better in 2016!
